Our newest member of Glass Master's family of quality duct fabrication machines can help you produce uniform, high quality fiber glass duct sections - fast! The DC-36 meets or exceeds all the standards of our earlier closure machines, but has a revolutionary new ability: The same machine will also close ten-sided ductwork. Just a few of the many new features are:

• Accepts all thicknesses of rectangular fiber glass duct, with outside duct dimensions of: Width from 6" (15 cm) to 38" (95 cm), and height from 6" (15 cm) to 32" (81 cm). Example: For 1" (25 mm) thick materials, minimum inside duct size would be Width x Height dimensions of 4" (10 cm) x 4" (10 cm), with maximum dimensions of 36" (91 cm) x 30" (76 cm).
• Carriage-drive system utilizes Acme threaded, motor driven rods for smoother carriage motion.
• Drive roller system featues pure gum roller wrap on both top and bottom rollers (14 in all). A single motor drives the top rollers one direction and the bottom rollers the other, providing unparalleled "grip" on the duct section as it travels past the iron, knife and tape wiper.
• Motor-driven UL181A-H tape wiper system with easy to change leather wiper flaps no staples required.
• Lighter weight, narrower width and built-in forklift channels allow the DC-36 to be loaded into the bed of almost any size pickup truck.
• Revolutionary motor-driven iron assembly allows the DC-36 to close ten-sided duct sections of varying material thicknesses and diameters. An added benefit of this feature is that the user is permitted to "fine tune" the tape position on rectangular duct sections, including those with varying duct thicknesses and staple flap width.
